Possibly a record number of walkers, 28, turned out for  one of the loveliest of walks along the sea front and round the headland at Grune Point. At one point we lost the Walks Secretary and Ken, who was back marker, to all absorbing birds, but all was

well. It can be hard to keep track of 28 people ... The day was cold but dry and still.
