Nice walk today from Dufton Village up onto Dufton Pike, 18 of us turned out despite the dodgy weather forecast. Turned out not too bad just a slight shower when we were having lunch. We were sad to be saying cheerio to Brenda who has been such good company all summer and is returning to British Columbia this week, however we will be meeting up with her again next year, (all being well!)
Hardest part of the walk was finding Dufton village! One of our cars came face to face, (bonnet to bonnet?) with a bus on a particularly narrow and winding road! However all well and had an enjoyable day in good company, as usual.
