A Walk

Middle Fell - Seatallan

Leader: Pete Rutland

Report & Photos by

The long trip to Wasdale was well worth it. A tough first pull up Middle Fell resulted in brilliant views across the Scafells whilst having  a cuppa. Dropping down and heading up the valley toward the Scoat Fell ridge line before turning back along the path to the summit of Seatallan. Lunch in glorious sunshine with a breeze that kept things a nice temperature.

A lovely steady walk down to Buckbarrow and a splendid panorama view of Wastwater. A steep but short track took us back down to the road and a mile walk back to the car. Pretty much a perfect day with perfect company, many thanks to Sara and Peter for pitching up, hope they enjoyed it.
