Dockray- Gowbarrow Fell-Aira Force Round

4.5 Miles Grade 3

The weather couldn’t have been better and provided ideal February walking conditions with spectacular views.  20 of us set out and 15 completed the entire walk over the Fell and down to the Aira Force car park, returning to the Royal Oak at Dockray.  Alan bravely handled his injured ankle which happened  late morning,  supported physically and morally by all the group.  He was collected by car from the nearest access point. Thanks to everyone for coming and being a great team.
