Hawick and Williesturther Loch

Somebody was looking after the 18 of us who set out on today's walk:   sunshine at the start and finish, some cloud and a cooling breeze during the walk, but NO RAIN, only one short stretch of mud, a helpful council worker who gave us access to the closed, vandalised toilets, a lovely lunch stop at the loch, and staff in the Heart of Hawick cafe who coped very well with such an influx of customers.  What more could one ask?!
It was a pleasure for us to lead such a friendly group.  Many thanks- and thanks too for the sensible, safe road-walking - gold stars all round
