High Stand Woods

It was lovely to meet and hug Pete’s group  and wish everyone a Happy New Year before 11 of us set off for High Stand and beyond.  It’s a lovely 8 mile walk with cracking views all round.   The photos (thanks to Jenny and Linda) show the diversity of our walk.   Those of us who had done it about six years ago remembered the Long Horn cows and me having a hissy fit because three had wandered away on their own on completely the wrong path!   I need a Ken!

We had tea at The Premier Inn which was different and a first.
