Thirteen walkers joined me today on a very showery morning. I changed the walk from the one on the website due to the recent amount of precipitation! Today we headed west up the track to the summit of Warbla, the hill with the mast. Conditions varied from quiet and scenic to very stormy at the trig point. We soon descended towards Skippers Bridge in very wet conditions. However we had our lunch on the old railway line in the dry. From there we proceeded south to Broomholmshiels via Jenny Noble’s Gill. We returned to Langholm via the Round House and welcome refreshments at the Buccleuch Centre. Thanks to all for their cheerfulness in what were very bracing conditions.
