The showers that were forecast turned out not to have any breaks. I don’t blame you all for staying at home! An early decision to abandon Latrigg in preference for a woodland walk proved to be a sensible idea.
With just four of us we made good time, reaching Keswick station for a dry lunch stop. The return via the railway path proved to be busy enough even on a wet Wednesday.
