Owing to a small timing issue,which enabled some of us to have a quick cup of coffee before setting out from the Kirkstile Inn.(just copying from the c walkers).So 10 hardy souls set off up the horrid scree slope, which we all conquered with no mishaps.
The weather was very pleasant for walking and we all made it to the top of North Top, where we decided to go to South Top for lunch.Not a very good idea, for as soon as we sat down the heavens opened. Luckily the rain didn’t last all that long and the weather improved for the rest of the afternoon. Great views with great company. Many thanks to Sue as back marker, and thanks to everyone else for coming. I enjoyed it hope you did too.
