“A few of us set off from The Sands.   A committee formed itself on how to get us to Denton Holme via the scenic route which included ascending the Millennium Bridge to give ourselves a work out and get our hearts pumping.

We ambled along just enjoying the Togetherness, talking, laughing, swapping stories of our ups and downs during these weeks of isolation and of course, general chit chat.   Our route took us through The Ridings and into Hammonds Pond where there were plenty of seats for us to have lunch.   I was a bit reluctant to “call Time” but we had to go eventually.
