Many thanks to all who came, some despite their local knowledge of what lay in store, others who risked a venture into the lawless lands north of the border!  My apologies for the fact that the length of the walk turned out to be somewhat in excess of what was advertised – your forbearance was greatly appreciated.

Sixteen of us set out on what turned out to be a perfect walking day, and sixteen returned safely.  Thank you all for making the leaders' jobs so easy, and special thanks to Anne for planning the walk and back-marking so cheerily.
