Nineteen walkers gathered in Langholm for the walk. Some of the bluebells were past their best as we walked through the woods but others were abundant and the wild garlic was at its peak. We observed recently felled woods, plenty of mud, various stages of the pheasant rearing industry, dappled shade and a house previously derelict being renovated as well as glorious trees in full leaf and gorgeous wild flowers. The First Bite scones were delicious as was the prompt service. Thanks to all for coming.
