Carlisle & District Rambling & Fellwalking Club

Walk & Event Reports

It's good to note that there is a lot of interest to be had from very local walks round Carlisle. We went to places in and around Tarraby and Houghton where some of us had never been before and others had not been for a long time. The wild life garden at the Cumbria Wildlife Trust building at Gosling Sike is well worth a visit. It was buzzing with bees and butterflies. Good weather and excellent company. We nearly forgot about the absence of tea and scones at the end
