Carlisle & District Rambling & Fellwalking Club

Walk & Event Reports

Seven of us met at the entrance to Kershope Forest on the B6318 on a warm, damp morning, the midges were there to greet us as we got out of our cars.    Ken agreed to Back Mark so off we went two abreast.  Apologies to Sue Greenwood that it was a tad fast initially.   I’d forgotten about her recent hip op.   We stopped frequently to admire views we couldn’t see, quickly got over discussing You Know What and generally had a jolly good laugh.

As we can’t have tea and scones after a walk I thought I would  surprise the Group and have a small celebration to mark  the  return of our Wednesday walks, give a toast to the Club, our health, our friends, the NHS and everything else in between.   And it is also my Birthday!   21 again!

Thanks for coming.
