Despite a dire forecast we once again manage to beat the rain and in fact enjoyed some sunshine too! Well done to everyone who turned up with their waterproofs: it was lovely to leave them in our rucksacks. Quite an up and down walk taking in a total of 5 fell tops, 3 of them Wainwrights. There was lots of laughter and chat along the way followed by tea and cake in Caldbeck. Not a long walk but a most enjoyable day.
