After an initial mix up over buses, eleven of us walked from Green Lane in the sunshine to the most southerly entrance to Heysham Park. We ambled along following the stream, chatting and enjoying the fresh air. There was rather a lot of mud in places and we saw two trees that had been blown down in the recent gales. We rejoined Newtown Road just before the hospital and took the bus back to town and a welcome break in Adeline's tearooms.
