A lovely mild sunny evening and what better way spend it than having a gentle amble in the Kirkoswald area.
Ten of us, plus Ben the dog, wandered over lush green fields and through lovely garlic smelling woods.
We arrived at the Fetherston Arms in perfect time for dinner. It was pie night and what delicious pies they were.
A lovely night, great company, a lovely walk followed by a delicious pie, it doesn't get much better than that.
