Well, as I promised, a nice easy walk, good paths no scramblingšŸ¤„. The weather held again for the dirty dozen who turned out on the long journey to Lingmoor Fell, some finding the car park easier to locate than others. Not a long hike to the summit of about 1500ft but this little hill had a few surprises tucked away.  One  or two little scrambley bits for us to negotiate , all done with a smile, if only they knew what was coming up. Lunch taken on the ridge before getting down to fat mans agony. Everyone squeezed through, some easier than others. After the great views on Side Pike we headed down toward the road. Here we found a great number of wet slippery crags to climb down which Im sure have been put there since the last time I did this route. Anyway, everyone lived to tell the tale and I hope you enjoyed the challenge this little lump gave us. You are all ready for Sharp Edge. A great day out rounded off in Chesters, thanks for coming.
