Walk & Event Reports

.

13 of us made the journey down to the Langdales and all got parked ok even with the increasing numbers of folk exploring the fells. Heading over to Pike Of Blisco it was relatively quiet as most favour the Pike Of Stickle side. A steep pull up to the summit for lunch where we were rewarded with amazing views across the valley. ( see, I wouldn’t lie to you). Down to Red Tarn then onto Cold Pike, where I personally celebrated doing my 2000th Wainwright.(what an anorak). I kept in quiet as I forgot the Champagne. Back down via Oxendale and onto the pub for a late cold drink. A tough 8 miles but with great views all day, thanks to all who came out.

Regards Pete.
