Walk & Event Reports

.

After a pretty awful couple of weeks weather wise it was great to see blue skies and wall to wall sunshine for a Sunday walk . We left Keswick as a group of twelve, soon to be thirteen as we headed up the narrow lane to Castlerigg Stone Circle which sat on a pure white carpet of frost. After spending a while taking in the views we headed for our lunch stop on the top of Walla Crag with more fine views. Eventually we tore ourselves away from this fantastic spot to descend into Keswick and refreshments at the YHA.

A great day in perfect conditions and a lovely start to the year.
Thanks to everyone who came out.
