A baker’s dozen of walkers out today including newcomer Bianca.
A stunning day of bright sunshine and snow- topped high fells. The walk up to Great Calva was enjoyable, even the boggier bits. We spent a relatively leisurely lunch on the top of the fell enjoying the
sunshine then made a steady descent to join the Cumbrian Way close to Skiddaw house
It was warm enough to remove outer layers and there was time to admire Dash Falls before returning to the cars. A fine day spent in good company, hoping for many more to come.
