Walk & Event Reports

.

The threat of high winds and snow meant abandoning the planed A walk and instead a combined group of 15 walkers enjoyed a blustery half days ramble. The highlight was a guided tour of the Pele Tower at Harbybrow, built in 1465. A few brave souls climbed to ramparts having been warned “ not to lean on the hand rail” Thankfully everyone got down safely. A visit was paid to All Hallows’ church before driving hail saw us beat a hasty retreat to the cars. Many thanks to Graham for arranging the tour of the tower and leading the walk.
