Caw Fell - Haycock - Scoat Fell - Steeple

A good crowd turned out for this little walk. A good walk in to warm up before climbing onto the ridge. Everyone got to the summit of Caw Fell if not all together. After lunch we quickly took in Haycock and then Scoat Fell where we had another rest before taking in Steeple. The views were brilliant in the sunshine. It was then the very long walk back into the valley and eventually back to the cars. Just over 12 miles and probably 3000ft of accent with the ups and downs made for a long day. Everyone seemed in good spirits at the end if a little tired. Thanks to everyone for turning up and well done getting around.
