12 of us started from Ravenstone Hotel car park on an immediate, heart pumping, nearly 45 degree angle upward path til we reached the main ridge of Ullock Pike, Long side and Carlside. The cloud was in and out but not badly and there were some fine views to be had at times.
We next did the "Traverse" with a few mumbles about the toughness (including me).
On reaching the Skiddaw ridge and then Trig point, we had lunch. Up there, it was like Sauchiehall Street on a Saturday afternoon, both humans and dogs!
We then crossed "Wee man", sorry,"  Little Man" and the walk down to Latrigg. Here, we had a pleasant surprise as our notable chairman, Big J , was sitting by a fence, chilling and waiting for 2 of the walks. The B walkers joined us from the Lonscale Fell path shortly after. We all then headed for Keswick, some of us on the ex railway line to Fitts Park, for refreshments.
Thanks to all who came on my walk, as usual, all a pleasure and I hope you enjoyed it.
