What a wonderful walk we had today.

All those fair weather walkers who stayed at home missed a treat.

Fabulous scenery, a wonderful coastal path and after a few minutes rain at the start,

it stayed dry for the rest of the day.

It was quite a tough walk, a lot tougher than the usual C walks,

lots of ups and downs but the C walkers are a hard bunch and they all

stuck at it. By the time we reached Rockcliffe I thought they had done more than enough.

Fortunately I was able to get a phone signal and contacted Dave, our driver and arranged

for him to pick us up and take us back to Kippford.

We got back just in time, before the B party so we didn't have to queue up for our tea and scones.

A fantastic walk, great company, great coastal scenery and we saw quite a few birds on the way,

cormorants and kittywakes, so I was told (I wouldn't know)

Many thanks to the Ark Cafe for coping so well with such a large party late in the day

and many thanks to all those that came along.
