Walk & Event Reports
It was beautiful weather today on our walk along part of Hadrian's wall. Our small happy group of 11 enjoyed the scenic views at a leisurely pace. We had a banana break at sycamore stump 😢and lunch at Housesteads.
We encountered some friendly Americans along the way 🥴. We also passed a bit of a horse riding event and were given some free refreshments. It was an easy going return journey, with nice more unusual views of the rear of Hadrian's wall. Passing a lime kiln, woodland and various loughs on the way.
We had plenty of time for refreshments after.
Lovely group today, thank you for coming. See you again soon x.
Astrid.
