Unfortunately the bus was full, so four of the C walkers went by car. Peter joined us at Buttermere. We were blessed with a day that was mainly sunny with snow on the top of the fells. The views were clear, the water was calm and the waterfalls were tumbling with all the water from the recent rain. Madge became a dog's best friend when we had lunch at the top of the lake just before Sally's Bridge. Crossing the bridge to walk back on the other side of the lake to the village we took refreshments in the farm café before swapping stories with our friends from the other groups. A lovely time was enjoyed by all.
