“Teesdale” – the final frontier. These are the adventures of Carlisle Ramblers. Our continuing mission to explore strange new waterfalls, cross cascading streams -using pocket boot wellies and boldly go where no Durham Rambler has gone before.”

The early dry weather allowed great photoshoot opportunities at the 3 spectacular waterfalls. How-ever the recent rain had also engorged the streams which hindered our return journey. Non the less I’m proud to say that all 21 of us made it across every beck and bog we encountered- not necessarily on 2 feet, but WE made it!!!

The rain did eventually relent before we arrived back to Bowlees where we enjoyed great coffee and cakes.
