Only 4 on the B walk today, On what turned out to be a lovely mild, dry day. It certainly wasn’t dry underfoot , this was a walk our President would have been proud of, lots and lots of mud and quite a few stiles. It was a bit like like being on Safari, we came across so many animals, cows, horses, goats, a donkey and two turkeys, on the run to avoid Christmas. Ken  met up with his old friend the donkey at High Gate Farm, I think the Donkey recognised him. We came across quite a few different types  of horses. The most common one was black and white with hairy feet. We had a long conversation with the local farmer who told us they were Gypsy Cobs and they all belonged to him. There must have been a very active stallion amongst them as only a couple of years ago he started with 10 and he now had 40. All in all a very pleasant and interesting walk,

Many thanks to Sharron and to Ken and Anne for coming along.
