We left the coach at 10.50 am to queue at the toilets along with half of Yorkshire but soon set off following the road to Goredale Scar. After admiring the waterfall we returned to the bacon butty van for refreshments before turning on to the path to Janet's Foss. It was a bit of a slippery scramble down but we made it without injury to follow the path through the woods and back to Malham for lunch. After lunch we followed the beck to Hanlith Bridge and on to Kirkby Malham. At the church we admitted an art exhibition before walking through the church yard back to the road for a final short ascent to the through the fields to Malham.
