Walk & Event Reports

Mean, moody and magnificent - no not the walk leader - but the landscape of High Cup Nick. Especially today with mist and cloud rolling off the hillsides into the u-shaped valley

After a warm climb out of the pretty village of Mutton there was time for a pause whilst some of the 16 walkers visited the summit of Murton Pike.
After this it was on into the missly rain along  the southern edge of the glaciated valley to finally reach the high point of the walk. From here it was an easier descent along the Pennine Way. There was just time for a quick cuppa in Dufton at the end of a tough but enjoyable 11 mile walk. Thanks to everyone who came along.
