Ten of us started out from the Sands and ten of us finished but twelve of us completed most of the walk.

We set off in sunshine, dined in sunshine and ended in sunshine – however  in between we lost count of how many times waterproofs were on and off- but the chance to be out and about in the local countryside far  outweighed  a bit of dampness.

Most of the group had walked parts of the route and were surprised by how it could all be linked together to make a lovely scenic loop   so close to home.

Thank you to Lynda and Janet who followed the instructions and each led a group of 6 while I had a very pleasant stress free day - back marking.

 Lockdown gave me the time to discover this and many more amazing local walks- without which I would be two stone heavier along with my lock down grey roots.
