B Walk

Colvend Circular from Kippford

15 of us arrived at Kippford and it was great to see some old familiar faces again.

After a morning of trekking through the lovely local forests- low tide allowed us to head across the beach to see the old smuggling caves and the Portling Needle Arch. Lunch was eaten on the beach with

wall to wall sun sea and sand.

The highlight of the walk was the stunning rugged coastline back along the Colvend coast displayed

at its best by the fabulous weather.

After already leading The Wasp Walk I was relieved that we narrowly missed a confrontation with an adder.

The Rockcliffe ice cream van didn’t let us down and hard earned treats were enjoyed by all.

Thankyou to everyone who made the long haul up into Scotland and for making the day one to remember.
