Walk & Event Reports

.

As I stated in the walk description, this walk has plenty of amazing views to take in, its just a shame we didn’t see any. A good six hours and 10 miles of walking in the type of rain that eventually gets you wet along with very poor viz. This made for a challenging hike  of five Wainwrights that get up over 2500ft. Spirits were kept up a bit with an abundant supply of Jelly Babies. If anyone finds they are suffering from withdrawal symptoms I have the contact number for Jelly Babies Anonymous if you need counselling. 12 of us ground out the walk with only a few other souls lurking in the mist. I guess we can’t complain with the great weather we’ve had in recent weeks.  Looking on the positive side it was a good work out with plenty of fresh air with a jolly bunch. Thanks for turning up to battle the elements.
