Walk & Event Reports

The C group numbered thirteen and set off at a brisk pace on this circular walk of Moffat. We passed Rogermoor and  Frenchland before climbing steadily to Jenny’s View looking west to Moffat nestling in the valley. We walked back to the outskirts of the town noting the many lovely houses before heading north to Archbank Farm where we had lunch and helped a lamb in distress find its mum. We followed the track skirting the Gallowhill Wood before negotiating the steep descent to the Annandale Way. Soon we were back in town and able to enjoy the delights of the Rumbling Tum and some retail therapy. Thanks to all for their company and good humour.
