Twelve walkers with Bella and Bracken out today. The weather stayed bright and sunny  although distant views were a little hazy. Everyone seemed to enjoy the visit to this remote corner of the lakes  a little boggy in places but overall a fine route. Lunch was taken at the scenic Mosedale Cottage bothy before making the steep climb up to Branstree with good views  over to the Mardale fells. The return to Swindale was made via the corpse road although all twelve were very much alive and well when we got back to the cars
