Thanks to Neil for leading the walk today which took us on an  interesting tour of Dodd Fell along some less walked paths and tracks.
We managed to avoid the worst of the weather and enjoyed atmospheric views of Derwentwater with fresh snow evident on some of the higher fells.
After summiting mighty Dodd fell we made a more straightforward descent to the car park and then returned to the cars and calling into The Craggs on the way home.
