Carrock Fell and Knott

Eight walkers plus two dogs headed out to Carrock fell and Knott today, in weather more suited to ducks! But we still managed to complete two wainwrights.
 We had our dinner in Lingy hut, where we shared shelter with some fell race crew.
The sun started to creep in on the way back, and a rainbow came out to lead us home. 
The dogs had a bit of a wash in the ford before getting back to our cars.
Very wet, boggy and muddy but not too cold. Everyone had a smile.
