Ten of us in total getting off the bus for todays challenge. Glad I wasn’t leading the B walk as I can’t count as high as the numbers on that one. The walk followed the plan in the walk description and we soon found ourselves on the summit of Fairfield for lunch. The weather was good all day giving us great views all around. The four other summits of Hart Crag, Dove Crag, High and Low Pike followed  and the main target of the day was attained, that is coffee and apple pie in the Apple Pie Cafe. A really great walk with a good group not to mention the fine day being rounded off with the great news England won the Cricket World Cup. Thanks to all who turned out and hope to see you next time.
