I’m pleased to say we were lucky with both the weather and the views today. The promised views did not disappoint and the cooler temperatures than of late, together with a refreshing breeze on the tops made for near ideal walking conditions. We took our time, making the most of the day, chatting to the few other walkers we met on route until returning to the Honister Slate Mine cafe for refreshments. It was here that I witnessed one of our party tipping away half of their beer !!! well each to their own I suppose hahahaha Many thanks to those who joined me … great company as always.
