Elterwater

After a bit of a struggle to find parking, seven of us set off towards Burlington Quarry and the path
to Little Langdale. It was a touch windy but we soon warmed up as we tackled the hill before
dropping down to Slaters Bridge. There were fine views across the valley as we continued to Tibberthwaite. After pull up the path above Colwith Falls and down into Skelwith Bridge we hit a shower of rain
but it was time for lunch, sitting outside at Chesters. A stroll back along the river to Elterwater
saw us damp but not soaked, a nice end to a lovely walk.
