Report & Photos by Pete Rutland

As promised a cracking walk today. A good walk in a brilliant area with the added ingredients of a good group and amazing weather all adds up to a day to remember. Nine of us out on the hills today which included Gray Crag, Thornthwaite Crag, High Street, Kidsty Pike, Rampsgill Head and The Knott. Summits are not the be all and end all but they do give you a good idea of where

you have been and what you have achieved.

Today we achieved amazing views, including an abundance of Red Deer in Riigindale. Dinner was on Thornthwaite Crag in glorious sunshine in the company of a bunch of friendly moutainbikers who struggled to keep up with us carrying their bikes up hill,

its all crazy to me but each to thier own.

Hope the pics tell the tale of the day, thanks to all who pitched up. Lets have more of this weather.
