Walk & Event Reports

.

A good gang turning out today to take on Englands highest hill outside of the Lakes National Park, so thanks to all who pitched up. We’ve been very lucky on the walks over the last few weeks and today was no exception, the weather was perfect. None of the anticipated problems with parking at Kirkland so the walk set off very well. It wasn’t long before Steven and myself saw the biggest rabbit ever, possibly a record, it must have been as big as, well, it was very big. Along with the hare, curlew calling  and one odd Roe deer there was plenty to see. But with the weather and snow on the top quarter of the hill the views out did even the giant rabbit. All in all a great day out, hope you all enjoyed it.
