Walk & Event Reports

This is a short walk I did yesterday, which I am sure is known to many members, but thought I would share my photos of a beautiful Spring day. Starting from the Sands at Brampton take the path from behind the memorial seat, that rises steeply and up onto the ridge for some magnificent views. Eventually the path comes out onto a little lane, turn right here then cross the main Brampton to Lanercost road into Quarry Beck Woods to see the Bluebells which are looking beautiful. From here it’s an option to walk as far as you like, with paths that lead up to Hadrians Wall, but for my walk yesterday I just walked back along the roadside which was very pleasant in its own right.
