What a fantastic time we had in Bonnie Scotland. Great weather and visability, you couldn’t ask for more. We set off up the Cobbler, I only managed half way and had to turn back, due to injury but the rest carried on to the top and some even made the scarey ascent to the summit. They enjoyed the most spectacular views, the best they had ever seen according to some and I wouldn’t disagree with them. A good night in the hotel and off on Sunday morning to visit the Devils Pulpit, a very interesting gorge. It was then on to the West Highland Way and over Conic Hill, with stunning views of Loch Lomond and down in to Balmaha for a lovely dinner before heading home. Having experienced the best will some ever want to walk in the Lake District again, I suspect they will, we all have to slum it now and again. Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a great weekend.
